Hunger Sundays

The first Sunday of every month, Shepherd gives back to our community through Hunger Sundays.

Donations are collected in the parking lot before and after worship to support our two hunger partners:

Community Table and South County Outreach.

Our next Hunger Sunday is on November 2nd and will benefit South County Outreach. Items that are needed include cereal (all kinds), canned soup, peanut butter & jelly, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned meat (tuna/chicken), flour, boxed pasta, pasta sauce, 2lb bags of rice (brown or white), and 2lb bags of beans (black or pinto). Come by the parking lot between 9:30 and 11:15am on November 2nd to drop off your donations!

 

With Halloween approaching, Community Table is collecting treats to hand out to children, especially cookies or snacks. You can drop these off on Wednesdays at the RSM campus. They are also in need of baby diapers, wipes, and clean, used egg cartons.
