FAQ
Who can attend? Any high school youth or adult can participate. Families who wish to attend with children 8th grade or under are welcome, but children are under a parent’s supervision at all times. There is no childcare or specific program for families attending the mission trip.
When do we leave and return? The team departs on Thursday before Martin Luther King day, and returns on Monday.
What does it cost? The registration fee of $300 includes food, auto insurance and gasoline expenses for our drivers. We suggest you bring personal spending money for any shopping and for one of several taco runs that are quite likely to occur!
Where do we stay? We stay at YUGO’s inviting Ensenada Outreach Center (EOC). Be prepared for a clean and fun separate bunk bed set-up for men and women, shared modern restrooms with hot showers, delicious food prepared by YUGO staff, and plenty of room to relax and share in the presence of others while on the trip. Family accomodations also are available on a limited basis.
What will we do besides work? The days are filled with service and lots of fun! During the evening, there will be fun, food, fellowship, spirited worship and a small group recap of each day.
